Large German Press Photo of a Fire in London’s Harbor District

The photograph is apparently 7 by 9 1/2 inches in size. The photograph apparently pre-dates the war and depicts a fire in 1935. The reverse bears the photo agency stamp, a handwritten notation, the date of “27.9.35” (September 9, 1935), and the caption for the photograph when it appeared in a German newspaper: “Riesenbrand im London Hafenviertel” (“Huge fire in the London harbour district”).  The photograph has a chipped corner.
