A large slid cast metal plaque, approximately 14 inches in diameter, which was likely used on the headquarters of Battery “C”. The plaque is in relief and painted, with the paint showing age and wear. The 108th Field Artillery Regiment was formed before the Civil War, and its battle honors included some of the most significant battles in America history, including Gettysburg in 1863, Meuse-Argonne in 1918, and Normandy and the Ardennes in 1944.
