Japanese Soldier’s Senninbari Belt of 1,000 Stitches with Tiger Pattern

The belt was created with yellow cotton bearing a printed image of a tiger onto which the stitches were sewn. The belt also has stitches in printed kanji for the slogan “Eternal Good Fortune in Combat”. The reverse side exhibits large printed kanji. The belt is approximately 6-7/8 inches wide and approximately 47 inches long, exclusive of the fabric ties. There is a hole in the yellow cotton just above the tiger, but overall the belt is in very good used condition.
