Japanese Army Officer Uniform Open Collar Shirt
This is certainly one of the most iconic pieces of the Japanese Army military: the white collar officer shirt that was worn open at the neck with the collar extending over the uniform tunic lapels. Remember Colonel Saito in “The Bridge on the River Kwai”? This shirt is a soft brushed cotton fabric in a light golden yellow color. The large collar is also brushed cotton, in white. The collar attaches to the body of the shirt with a row of interior buttons on the neck band, making the collar easily removable for laundering. The shirt shows use, and it has some spots, but is still quite presentable and it is in overall very good used condition.
