Japanese Army Intendance Department Major Full Dress Uniform with Sword Belt and Gloves

The uniform is comprised of the full dress frock coat, the matching trousers, the dress sword belt, and the white wool dress gloves. The frock coat displays the alternating silver / gold cuff braid and the shoulder boards of an Intendance Department Major. The upper front of the coat has two rows of thread loops for the wear of medal bars, with the lower row of loops showing some breaks. The celluloid collar liner remains in place inside of the collar. The frock coat is in very clean condition, without holes, damage, or repairs. The matching wool trousers are piped on the side of each leg, with the piping showing some fading and scattered holes. The leather sword belt remains supple, with the interior red wool lining having holes. The white wool gloves exhibit soiling, tracking, and small scattered holes. Overall the uniform is in very good condition and it makes an impressive appearance.
