Italian WWI M1916 Artillery Regiment Helmet

An Italian M1916 helmet, with the comb being riveted on to the helmet shell rather than welded. The helmet retains approximately 85% of its exterior green paint. The shell has a few minor indentations from use. On the front of the helmet is stenciled the insignia of the 12th Field Artillery Group. The green leather chin strap is still affixed to the helmet. The interior leather and green wool liner is present, showing some wear to the cloth at the rear. Overall very good combat used condition.
