The nickel blade is quite bright, showing some scratches and speckling of the surfaces. The grip is metal, showing some loss of the black paint, while retaining the triple wrapping of brass wire. The brass guard, ferrule, and pommel all show uncleaned patina, with the eagle head pommel having faceted red glass eyes. The dagger is within an incorrect rough out leather scabbard without belt loop or hanger.
