Inert WWII Model 24 Stick Grenade Stielhandgranate

Excellent condition, with a clear stencil on the charge cannister of “Vor Gebrauch Sprengkapsel Einsetzen” (“Before Use Set Detonator”). The top of the cannister bears the impressed designation of “RR517. 1940”. The empty charge head unscrews from the stick, and the bottom unscrews to reveal a wooden plug with a cord and wire which would have been exposed and pulled to arm the detonator. The wood stick with a nice untouched patina maker stamped and also dated 1940. There is some relatively minor loss of paint to the charge canister but overall the grenade is in excellent condition.
