The leather sling shows wear and age, with crazing and with the leather being somewhat dry, but the sling is complete, intact, and pliable. Leather measures 1-1/2″ X 59″, tip lightly marked “Rock Island Arsenal”. The brass buckle shows patina and verdigris, while the carbine clip and ring have a fine dark finish. Outer edge of the swivel is marked “U.S.” and “T.J. Sheppard”. Overall very good condition.
