The blade is generally bright, with scattered spots, darker areas, and some light surface rust. The brass pommel and guard have an uncleaned patina. The leather wrap over the wood grip shows age and holes, with the grip wrapped in twisted brass wire. The scabbard shows age, dark areas, and light surface rust.
