The feldmutze is constructed of royal blue wool with a red wool cap band and red piping. The front displays the national colors and the Wurttemberg cockades, with the latter showing some loss of paint. The exterior surfaces exhibit spots and some tracking. The interior lining bears what appears to be a handwritten name and unit.
