Imperial Saxon EM/NCO Pickelhaube

The surfaces of the leather helmet show typical cracks and age crazing, with a few scuffs and a film of dust, but the helmet retains a very good shape and it displays a generally good polish. The Imperial Saxon front plate is retained through two holes in the front of the helmet. The front metal edge of the visor, the wappen front plate, the spike, the spike base, and the rear spine all show a matte gray appearance and an uncleaned patina. The helmet displays Saxon and national colors cockades. A chin strap is present. The full leather liner is intact on the interior. The interior rear visor of the helmet bears a depot stamp. Overall the helmet is in good condition and it makes a very nice appearance.
