Imperial Prussian Model 1905 Jaeger Zu Pferde Helmet with Camouflage Fittings

The blackened finish of the helmet exterior is largely intact, showing typical scuffs and scratches, as well as spots of surface rust, primarily on the rim edges. The Prussian wappen helmet plate, the spike, and the spike base all exhibit an old application of dark green paint, undoubtedly an effort to camouflage the helmet in the field. The original leather chin strap is in place, with the cockades being replacements. The leather liner is present, showing significant wear and use, but being complete and intact. The interior rear rim is marked as a size 56. Overall excellent field used condition.
