Imperial Prussian Army Special Troops Feldmutze

The feldmutze is constructed of field gray wool with a black wool cap band and red piping. The mutze is generally quite clean, showing spots and a few quite small holes in the body of the cap. The front displays both the national colors and the Prussian colors cockades, both of which show wear to the paint. The interior bears what appears to be a unit stamp. Overall very good condition. For Special Troops for Artillerie (Artillery), Pioniere (Engineers) and Verkehrstruppen (Transportation Troops). These included all Eisenbahn (Railway), Telegraphen (Telegraph), Flieger (Flying), Luftschiffer (Balloon and Zeppelin).
