The stoneware stein has an overall height of approximately 7 inches, inclusive of the thumb lift. Porcelain inlaid lid with image of Albert I. The edge of the lid bears an “Ostheim Christmas 1917” engraving in German. The thumb lift is the letter “A” surmounted by a crown. Near mint condition, without chips or cracks. Ostheim was the site of a military hospital during WWI.
