Imperial German Tunic of a Hauptmann of Infantry Regiment 124 (6.Wurttembergisches) “Kaiser Wilhelm I”

The gray wool tunic has a pale gray velvet collar with golden yellow piping and collar tabs. The shoulders carry sew in boards for a Hauptmann of the 124th (6.Wurttemberg) Infantry Regiment. On the lower left front is a set of loops for a medal or a badge. The turn back cuffs are piped in golden yellow. The exterior of the tunic is quite clean, with some light spots but without stains or holes. The interior shows signs of wear and use and has a sewn strip of cloth bearing handwritten notations. The collar has some separations to the velvet material.
