The porcelain half liter stein has an overall height of approximately 7-1/4 inches exclusive of the thumb lift. The stein bears the dedication of “Zur Erinnerung an die Kampfe in den Urgonnen 30.6. bis 2.7.15” (“To commemorate the battles in the Argonne from June 30 to July 2, 1915”). The stein has a lid with a relief portrait of German Crown Prince Wilhelm and a lithopane base. Near mint condition, without chips or cracks.
