Imperial German Railway Unit Reservist Stein

A pottery stein, approximately 11 inches tall overall, for a member of Eisenbahn Kgl. (Imperial Railway) Regiment Number 1 in Berlin. The front center of the stein bears the large “ER” designation of the eisenbahn regiment, above the name of the reservist: “Karl Drusedau”. The wording on the stein indicates that Drusedau served in the regiment from 1902 to 1904. The base of the stein bears a maker mark. One side of the stein presents a unit roster. The lid has an open wing imperial eagle, while the thumb lift includes the unit shoulder strap design, which is worn by still visible. Overall excellent condition.
