Imperial German Prussian Jaeger Battalion Visor Cap

The exterior of the cap shows scattered small holes and tracking, but the cap retains a fine shape and makes a very good appearance. The interior shows signs of wear but the interior lining and sweatband remain complete and intact. The underside of the visor bears the handwritten name of “Oberjaeger Wenk” and a unit identification which appears to read “Jäger Battalion No.11”, which would have been the Royal Prussian Electoral Hessian Jägerbattalion No.11.
