The circular photograph is approximately 3 inches in diameter. The photograph is contained between two pieces of beveled glass which are on a metal base. The cardboard backing bears the handwritten date of “1916” and a four leaf clover is contained within the glass. The ornamented wood horse’s hoof is approximately 4 inches by 5 inches in size. The field glasses show age but the optics are clear. The case shows wear and period repairs. The leather closure strap on the lid is torn.
