Imperial German Hessian Train Battalion Visor Cap

The cap is constructed from a fine quality dark blue wool top and a light blue wool cap band, both piped in light blue. The cap is in excellent condition, the exterior body being without stains or holes. The interior has a light silk lining and leather sweat band, both of which show spots and signs of wear. The lining of the interior crown is affixed with a German gothic gilt metal letter “M”.
