Imperial German Garde Hussar Regiment Officer Visor Cap

The cap is tailored in a fine quality red wool for the cap top, with a dark blue wool cap band, both piped in golden yellow piping. The front of the cap displays officer cockades in both the Prussian and the national colors. The surface of the black patent leather visor shows typical fine age crazing. The side of the red wool top shows a few tiny nips, with the top of the cap showing some tracking and a few very small holes. The interior is lined in a white silk with a full leather sweatband. The cap is in overall very good to excellent condition.
