Imperial German Carabiniers Regiment (2nd Royal Saxon Heavy Cavalry) Cap

The cap has a light blue wool top with a black wool cap band, both piped in white. The front peak carries the national colors cockade, while the cap band displays the Saxon colors cockade. The body of the cap has some spots and surface soiling, but it is without holes or tears. The interior shows wear and use. The lining bears a size stamp pf 57. The lining has a faint manufacturer mark as well as multiple stamps. Overall the cap is in very good condition.
