Imperial German Bavarian 4. Esk., 5. Chevaleger Regt., Saargemünd Reservist Stein

The 1/2 liter porcelain stein is approximately 12  inches tall overall. The stein is named to Reservist Lutzel, who served from 1903 to 1906. The central image of a mounted trooper is flanked by scenes of Chevalegers in the field and meeting women. The base has a lithopane scene of  King Ludwig.  A few names on the unit rosters show some wear and the head of the pewter trooper is pushed back , but otherwise the stein is without chips or cracks and in excellent condition.
