Imperial German 92nd (Brunswick) Infantry Regiment Leutnant Tunic with Medals

The tunic is tailored from a fine quality field gray wool, and it makes an excellent appearance, showing a few light spots as well as signs of wear, but being very impressive overall. The interior has hanging loops in the armpits which bear the name of a military tailor on Braunschweig. The uniform carries sew in Leutnant shoulder straps with gilt cyphers. On the left breast the uniform displays a 1914 Iron Cross, First Class, and the silver wound badge. Both decorations are worn through medal loops sewn on the tunic. The Iron Cross is in good condition, showing some spots of rust to the iron core and an uncleaned patina to the silver frame. The Wound Badge shows some wear to the finish. Overall very good to excellent condition.
