Imperial Bavarian Corduroy Tunic for a Leutnant of the 4th (Magdeburg) Field Artillery Regiment “Prince Regent Luitpold of Bavaria”

The tunic shows ares of discoloration and fading from field gray to a brown color in areas that were exposed to light, with darker, field gray color being observable where the tunic was covered by a medal bar, a belt, and on the inside of cuffs and the underside of the placket. The collar is piped with the distinctive Bavarian blue and white tape, while the shoulders exhibit the boards of a Leutnant which bear the cyphers of the 4th (Magdeburg) Field Artillery Regiment “Prince Regent Luitpold of Bavaria”. The upper left pocket has a single loop for the wear of a badge or decoration. The tunic shows some soiling but retains all crown buttons.
