Identified British Royal Horse Artillery Tunic and Overseas Cap

The dark wool tunic exhibits age and use, but the exterior is without holes, damage or repairs. The interior lining has spots, stains, and a small hole in the right shoulder area of the lining. The left sleeve bears a bullion “Gun Layer” badge, while the right sleeve carries a large gold chevron. The interior of the jacket has the stenciled notation of “RHA 51318”. The tunic is accompanied by the wool royal Horse Artillery overseas cap, with soiling and subtle tracking, and with a small hole in the upper right side which appears to have been deliberately made. Also with the tunic and cap is a copy of a military record card for the individual in the royal Horse Artillery who bore service number 51318. Overall very good condition.
