Heavy polished black stone mounted with metal emblem reading – “Grosser Preis der Reichhauptstadt Berliner Eissportgemeinschaft Marz 1941” – Grand Prix of the Reich Capital Berlin Ice Sports Association March 1941″. Measures 4-3/4 X 7 inches, reverse with worn felt.  Plaque of honor that was awarded to the figure skating couple Maxi Herber and Ernst Baier, who won the pair skating competitions, on the occasion of the International Ice Sports Competitions in Berlin. Marble shows a small rub spot on the left edge but no chips or breaks.
