German Short K98 Dress Bayonet with Frog

The blade is generally bright, showing spots and scratches but making a very good appearance. The leather washer is in place at the top of the blade, and the ricasso bears the mark of “Solingen”. The black Bakelite grip plates are without chips or cracks. The guard and the pommel shows uncleaned patina and a few very small spots of plating loss. The scabbard shows largely intact black paint. The leather frog shows age and red dust on areas but it is complete and intact. Overall very good condition.
