German K98 Dress Bayonet with Frog and Portepee

The blade is generally quite bright, showing some spots and scratches as well as surface grime. The ricasso bears an indistinct maker mark. The leather washer is in place at the top of the blade. One black Bakelite grip plate has a barely visible chip to the center area, but the grips are without cracks or damage. The guard and the pommel show uncleaned patina as well as some slight plating loss in the area of the press stud. The rifle slot retains the red wool insert. The scabbard exhibits scratches and abrasions to the paint. The leather frog shows age and small dents from use, but it is complete and intact. An NCO portepee is tied around the frog, with the bullion components of the portepee showing dark age toning and some wear to the stem. Overall very good condition.
