German Army Regimental Standarte Streamers Set

The streamer set is constructed from a machine woven silver brocade material, with red and black accent lines, and with two large tassels on the ends. The tassels are in turn made from silver and aluminum wire, with black and red silk thread accents. The steamers are complete with their two original plaques, stamped in Tombac with a silver wash. Each plaque displays a closed wing army eagle with the date of  March 16 1935 on one plaque and the date of March 16 1936. The plaques retain a virtually intact finish, showing some spots, age, and uncleaned patina. The streamers show a few typical loose edge threads, but they are complete, intact, make an impressive appearance.
