German Army Officer Dagger with Hangers and Portepee by WKC

The dagger blade is generally quite bright, with some spots, smudges, and surface grime, but with visible crossgrain and making a very good appearance. The ricasso bears the knight helmet and “WKC” trademark of the firm of Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Cie. The celluloid grip is white in color and it is without nicks, chips or damage. The pommel and the guard exhibit uncleaned patina. The scabbard is quite clean and straight, and without indentations. The silver portepee shows use, with spots of wear to the cord and stem. The hangers exhibit age, with toning of the brocade straps, but the hangers show relatively little wear or use. Overall the set is in excellent condition.
