The silver and enamel badge was worn by members of the Lotta Svärd, a Finnish voluntary auxiliary organization for women that operated from 1918 to 1944. The reverse of the badge is maker marked and serial numbered. The enamel exhibits scratches but the badge is without damage and it shows a fine uncleaned patina. Overall very good condition.
