Extensively Signed WWII Japanese Personal Good Luck Flag

The cotton flag is approximately 27-1/2 inches by 32 inches. Two corners are reinforced and have cord ties. The flag is extensively signed, with the signatures and good wishes covering most all of the white field. The flag also bears four larger bold kanji which is a quote from Kusunoki Masasue, a 14th century samurai: “Seven Lives Dedicated [to repay] to the Nation”. The flag displays spots, soiling, and signs of age, but the flag is without holes or damage and it makes a very good appearance.
