The field gray wool feldmutze is in exceptionally clean condition. The wool exterior shows typical wear to the nap but it is without stains, holes or damage. The interior exhibits some soiling from wear and use, but it is similarly without damage. The interior lining is marked as a size 59, and the lining also has both manufacturer and military depot stamps.
