Double Marked Hitler Youth Dagger by Klittermann & Moog, RZM M7/29-1940

The blade of the dagger shows spots and runner marks, and with some subtle indications of sharpening, but it is generally clean and without chips, nicks or rust. The reverse side of the blade bears the maker mark of the firm of Klittermann & Moog, while the ricasso at the base of the blade is marked “RZM M7/29-1940”. The leather washer remains in place at the base of the blade. The black Bakelite grips are without chips, cracks or damage. The grip has an inset enamel Hitler Youth insignia that is similarly without damage. The dagger guard, pommel, and back strap all show spots of plating loss. The scabbard shows spots of loss of the black paint. Overall very good condition.
