Double Marked Fire Police Dress Bayonet by Lauterjung & Co. (Tiger) with Frog and Portepee

The blade is generally bright, showing some spots and scratches. The blade is marked on both sides of the ricasso by Lauterjung & Co., or”Tiger”. The leather washer is in place at the top of the ricasso. The black Bakelite grips are without chips or cracks. Both the guard and the pommel show some speckling of the plated finish, with some small spots of plating loss. The gloss black scabbard paint is largely intact. The leather frog exhibits age crazing and signs of wear, but it is complete and intact. The ball of the portepee shows age toning, while the strap has surface verdigris on both sides. Overall very good condition.
