The helmet retains approximately 9o percent of the exterior olive brown paint, showing the typical scuffs and abrasions of a combat helmet. The five pad liner is intact, with all of the pads retaining the filling within the “pillows” behind each pad. The leather chin strap is torn close to the bale.
