Crisp Heer M36 service blouse for a Heer Panzer or Panzerjäger Obergefreiter, nice example in excellent condition and in a large size, built of early quality field grey wool, lining and bandage pocket are of putty colored flat cotton, lining panel is stamped in black ink with the information of the Stuttgart based maker to include a six pointed star logo, sizes are placed below that with M39 depot mark, wool has manufacturer’s white ink stencil, with dark green badge cloth collar, four pleated patch pockets and adjustable cuffs, each cuff has a single horn button, the bandage pocket button is horn while all collar liner buttons are pressed paper, all painted pebbled buttons match, are marked St.&L. and are attached with thick dark grey colored thread, the mounted rosa colored piped collar litzen are machine sewn to the collar, the tabs’ center bars are a pale green color, the matched pair of slip on shoulder straps have uppers of dark green badge cloth and rosa colored synthetic piping, lower panels and tongues are made of field grey wool and are reinforced with ribbed cotton fabric, the light grey on dark green national emblem has machine zig zag sewing with medium green colored thread along the perimeter with final attachment appearing to be by hand (much like with a flatwire eagle on a Waffenrock), the rank chevron has machine sewn metallic tresse on dark green felt and it is applied by hand with black thread, there are loops for a small ribbon bar and two breast badges, garment shows only the slightest traces of wear and the fabric is absolutely undamaged, it is quite likely that this one was reserved for best wear.
