The visor cap is in excellent condition, showing some surface dust and signs of age, but without holes, stains, or damage. The cap band, chin strap, and patent leather visor all exhibit fine gold bullion embroidery. The cap badge is the correct two piece style worn only on the visor caps of Soviet Generals. The interior shows virtually no wear. The leather sweat shield bears the mark of the “TsEP” factory of the Ministry of Defense in Moscow. Overall an impressive Cold War visor cap in excellent condition.
