Civil War Period City of Philadelphia Waist Belt

The black leather belt has a cast two piece belt plate which bears the seal of the city of Philadelphia, with the buckle retaining most all of its toned gilt finish. The belt exhibits wear and use, being somewhat dry, but it is complete and intact. The belt is approximately 39 inches in length and the interior is marked “39”. Overall very good condition.
