The epaulettes show typical age toning of the bullion, with the metal crescents exhibiting uncleaned patina. The crescent on the right side epaulette is slightly loose, but it is intact. The mounting claps on the underside are manufacturer marked by a crown and wreath. The bullion fringe coils remain tight. The red leather and maroon velvet undersides show relatively minimal wear. Overall the epaulettes are in excellent condition and make a very impressive appearance. The tin carrying case shows wear and age as well as rust, but it is without damage.
