Cased Kingdom of Italy Order of Saints Maurice and Lazarus Commander Neck Cross Set

The cross is in excellent condition, showing some verdigris but the enamel being without chips or cracks and with a fine gilt finish on the crown suspension.  The order is contained within its fitted leather case together with a full neck ribbon; ribbon bar; two lapel rosettes; and a miniature version of the order. The interior of the lid is marked to a Rome jeweler, while the lid bears the royal cypher of King Victor Emmanuel.  The exterior green leather surfaces of the case show scuffs and abrasions.
