Cased First Class Social Welfare Cross by Godet

The decoration is in excellent condition, on a full neck ribbon which is somewhat stiff with age. The enamel of the cross is without chips or cracks, and the oak leaf suspension retains a full, age toned, fire gilt finish. The interior lid of the red leather case bears the decoration name and first class designation, while the base of the case has the embossed name of the Godet firm. The case exterior shows minor wear and scuffs, while the external closure button is missing.
