Cased First Class Order of the German Eagle Merit Cross Neck Order and Breast Star in 900 Silver

Officially designated as the “Order von Deutschen Adler Verdienstkreuz mit Stern”. The neck badge is on its full neck ribbon. The white enamel of the cross shows some pale yellow verdigris on the enamel from age. The enamel of the neck order and the breast star is excellent, without chips or cracks. The pin of the breast star is marked as “900” silver. The set is in exceptional condition, and it is contained within its original red leather case which has a black velvet interior with recessed compartments for the decorations. The interior lid bears the title of the set. The exterior of the lid displays a gold political eagle and swastika. The case exterior shows minor scratches and edge chips.
