Cased First Class German Eagle Order with Neck Cross and Breast Star

Both the neck cross and the breast star are in exceptional condition, exhibiting a fine and uncleaned patina over the silver gilt, and with the enamel arms of the crosses being without chips or cracks. The top of the breast star pin bears the silver content mark of “900”. The decorations are contained within the red leather case which has a black velvet interior with recessed compartments for the decorations. The case shows some age, with minor scuffs and abrasions, but it is complete and intact. Overall the set is an exceptional example of the Order of the German Eagle.
