Cased 1939 War Merit Cross without Swords in Tombac Marked “75” (Franke & Co)

The cross exhibits a very dark and uncleaned patina to both the front and the back. The LDO code of “75” is stamped in small size into the top of the pin. The medal shows fine detail beneath the patina. The case shows wear and age, with some relatively minor scuffing and with the interior lid lining being a bit loose and stained, but the case is complete and intact.
