Camouflage M1916 Combat Helmet
A Model 1916 combat helmet with a dark painted camouflage pattern in dark green and ocher, with wide black lines between the blocks of color. The exterior paint is approximately 70% intact, with most of the loss being on the top of the dome of the helmet, which now appears as plain brown. The 3 pad liner is present, although the pillow pads are empty. The drawstring is missing and the top of one of the two leather tongues of one of the liner pads is torn. The helmet does not have a chin strap. The interior is stamped with the manufacturer and size designation of “T.J. 66”. Missing one liner rivet. Overall good combat used condition.
