British Woman’s WWII Medal Group for a Private in the Auxiliary Territorial Service with Pay Book and Release Book

The group is comprised of the medals, Pay Book, and A.T.S. Release Book, of Private Leonora K. Bingham. Private Bingham apparently got married during her service, since the Pay Book records her last name as “Arthur” in several places, with that being crossed out in one place and the name “Bingham” replacing it. The medals group includes the 1939-1945 Star; the Italy Star; the Defense Medal; and the 1939-1945 War Medal. All of the medals are unnamed as awarded and in very good condition. The medals ribbons are stapled to a card which bears information on Private Bingham. Both the Pay Book and the A.T.S. Release Book show age but they are complete and intact.
