British Royal Artillery Colonel’s Dress Uniform with Sword Belt, Binoculars Case, and Miniature Medals

The black wool dress tunic carries the shoulder knots of a Colonel, as well as a bar of miniature medals which include the Queen’s South Africa Medal with the bars three bars and the King’s South Africa Medal with two bars; the world War I trio; and the Edward VII Long Service and Good Conduct Medal. The tunic shows age and expected signs of wear, with toning of the bullion, but it is without damage or repairs and it makes a very good appearance. The tunic is accompanied by the officer’s brocade sword belt with two piece buckle. The gold brocade covering of the belt has become detached from the leather belt is several places, but it remains on the belt and could be restitched. The tunic is also accompanied by the dress pouch for binoculars on a gold brocade strap. Overall the set makes a very impressive appearance.
